My sexy Valentine's Day gift

Check out my Valentine's Day gift from Clint.
Where to begin?!?

Shall we start with the box...Yes let's start with this spicy-hot gift box. Nothing says "I want some Valentine's sexy action" like a recycled Christmas box. To Husband's defense, it is red, pink, purple, and orange-all Valentine's-y colors. The snowflake and reindeer details scream "it's cold outside...let's cuddle".

Next there's the ripped corner of the erotic gift box with remnants of an old sticky Christmas gift tag. HOT. RED HOT. That little ripped corner whispers "hey baby...I'm going to rip off those sweat pants and baggy T-shirt tonight". Yes, I'm getting all hot and bothered by you saucy gift-box.

Then, oh heaven help me, that gift tag...Hey you gift tag...you've got double the lovin'...literally. Didn't you know recycled gift-labels are gift-wrapping's aphrodisiac? Because husband does...bow chika bow wow...

The gift itseld?...sexy panties? Nah. Some milky chocolates? Nope. Creams and lotions? No way...
In this racy Valentine is not 1, but 2 DSLR camera remotes! This way I can take naughty pictures of glitter envelopes and hand-painted necklaces...soooo naughty.

For reals though folks...is this a sign that we should take it up a notch?
I like to think we are so sexy for the other 364 days of the year, that we use Valentine's Day as our day off...yeah, that's it.

  1. Alix, I don't even know what to say I cracked up laughing so hard! This is classic, you will definately want to remember this when you are old!
And how awesome to get camera equiptment for any reason!
I'm in the market for a new camera- need it asap (last minute trip to Curacoa before taking on to Switzerland- yay! Need to start getting some good photos of this stuff) what kind of camera are you using- your shots always look great! thinking of one with video so that I can really be overwhelmed by all the buttons- seriously I would love to learn more about making cute little videos! But cost is a big issue {I like to give the airlines the lionshare of our income:)}. NEED RECOMMENDATION

    1. Hollee! Hello there...yes cameras are great fun. I have been practicing taking pictures for some time now. The camera I have now is a great beginner camera if you are thinking of taking the leap in to DSLR cameras...it is a Cannon Rebel T3i with the standard lens it came with. I recommend any of Cannon's Rebel series because they are a very versatile entry-level camera. The reason I pick Cannon over Nikon is because the camera body fits all Cannon lenses, whereas Nikon has different bodies for different lenses, which means more expensive if you ever want to upgrade a lens. If not, Cannon and Nikon shoot about the same. (whew that was a lot of camera talk!) As far as learning how to take photos, check out this book: http://nicolesclasses.com/portfolio/photo-101-the-book/
It's my photo bible and worth it!
      Hope this helps!

  2. Being as how I'm a dinosaur, I know from nothing about DSLR camera remotes. In fact, I still wonder what to do with my state of the art digital camera, brand new in 2002, that is about as useless as my sunbrella. Warning all dinosaurs - be wary of listening to salesmen telling you what a bargain something with built in obsolescence is. But I digress. Obviously there's something to the rapid fire repro and reinvent of today's techi stuff, else we would all start our computers and stare at blank screens - oh I've been their too!
Meanwhile, while my latest and greatest version keeps coming on (cross fingers and eyes) I so enjoy your blog! And I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who lovingly wraps non-Christmasy stuff in Christmas packages. Love and hugs to Clint for his dedication to recycling. And while you're at it, give Liam and yourselve a hug for me!
Thanks a bunch. Starting the day with a good laugh feels so good!
